Should I Offer Both Hard and Soft Ice Cream?

Soft Ice Cream, often called Soft Serve, is usually made in a soft serve machine with a liquid mixture available through many supply chains. The machines can be expensive, anywhere from a couple hundred for a personal size to $5,000-$10,000 for a single or multi-flavor Soft Serve Maker/Dispenser system.

So obviously if customers are requesting soft serve and local businesses are selling it, it may be worth it to invest in. Get an idea of the demand and the possible profits and remember used equipment may be an option as well.
