Tara Pfahler
The Skinny Cow, a company that focuses on low-fat dessert alternatives for women, has gone one step further to promote a healthy lifestyle for their customer base.
The Skinny Cow has collaborated with Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. For the month of October, their new vanilla and and mint flavored ice cream pops, called Skinny Dippers, will be packaged with a pink ribbon. The pink ribbon is the well-known symbol for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The Skinny Cow has donated $30,000 to breast cancer research, and gave away 37,000 samples of their new ice cream treats to participants of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
The specially packaged Skinny Dipper ice cream treats will be available throughout the month at a suggested retail price of $4.99.
