Jan 14, 2005 What Items Comprise the Bulk of Revenue? By
Jason Lexell
At our ice cream store we sold items that could be divided into three categories.
1.) Fountain Items: Cones and Sundaes
2.) Manufactured Items: Ice Cream Sandwiches, Chipwiches and Other Ice Cream Novelties Made on the Premises.
3.) Cakes: Ice Cream Cakes for Birthdays and Holidays
4.) Commercial Business: We sold our ice cream to restaurants, schools, caterers and hospitals by developing a wholesale channel. We would offer discounts and promote this element as our wholesale business which would work greatly to support our income.
Most people don't know about all the additional revenue streams that can be created with an ice cream franchise. Developing these areas can help to stabilize your business and increase your income.
