The Cost of Milk - Have Prices Sky Rocketed?

For those of you making your own ice cream - have you seen your prices skyrocket as of late due to the increase in corn (which is in the animal's feed)?

How much did you use to pay? How much are you paying now? How has the increase effected your business?

I am on the fence of making my own ice cream or purchasing from a supplier. Just trying to do my best at researching before jumping in to this business.

I think it depends on where you live and what you are buying. While I have seen conventional milk prices go up in the last few months, the organic locally sourced milk I am using has stayed pretty stable in price. Since I am only now going into the industry I am not sure what the prices were in the last few years.

If you believe your product is better than what you can buy pre-made I personally would make my own ice cream
