Selling Ice Cream Novelties

I own a retail gift store and want to put a freezer in with ice cream novelties. Are there any regulations I need to go through and can i buy novelties wholesale if i am a gift shop. Any assistance appreciated!!

I know a novelty ice cream distributor and asked him about your issue. He said that each state is different. But usually pre-packaged ice cream should pose no threat as far as regulations are concerned. Here in Pa. We do not have to do anything with the health dept for novelties.
