We are new to this forum and look forward to educating ourselves. My wife and I bought a seasonal 120 seat restaurant with a window service in 2005. We are looking forward to our fifth season in April, and are constantly learning. We purchase our ice cream from Giffords in Maine. This was the first season we used it and we saw an sales increase of almost 50% over last season. Giffords is our local good quality producer. We also sell a ton of softserve. We are located in Central Vermont in a rural area. Population in town is around 2000. We have a good business now but I want to try to increase our traffic. We matched our 2007 numbers and our goal is to do the same in 2009. We are being realistic about the economy. We are going to introduce fruit smoothies, home grown waffle cones, upscale our paper and plastic cups, plates, etc.. O.k., enough said. We're hear for the education.
