Default Already opened - but need a new wholesale supplier

Hello,
I've owned a non-franchised ice cream shop for four years now. We have a local shop supplying all of our ice cream. While the taste is amazing, the price is killing us. In order to stay open, we are going to need to find another supplier of ice cream. Sysco can get us Blue Bunny and Bryers, but this is just a huge step down in quality for us.
Does anyone have any suggestions on ice cream suppliers that can get us a great product without asking us to sign up with their franchise?

I use Sysco and my clients love the icecream that we get from Schoeps and Blue Bunny .

If the price is killing you, why don't you increase your prices a little ? And if the taste is good then obviously it has something to attract more and more customers. You can find suppliers on afooddirectory.com. Try to increase your sales that will bring down the marginal cost for you. Hope my suggestions works for you.

First off....great forum. Great members with great advice! Thanks so much.
Here is my question....
Next, we are preparing new jersey escorts to open (early 2010) a super-premium ice cream store in Colorado Springs. We will manufacture our own ice cream using a base provided by a local dairy.

We want to start testing recipes, new jersey asian escort working on creating recipes and make ice cream on a small scale. Without buying a batch freezer, blast freezer and the associated equipment, how can we start test-producing ice cream in our new jersey asian escorts home? Are there small-scale sizes of the equipment so we can start working these recipes or should we consider buying the regular size equipment that we may use in our store and simply move it there once we open?
