Unusual Ice Cream Toppings: Post Pebble Flavors
More and more ice cream parlor owners are moving away from rolling hard or soft ice cream in hard candies or sprinkles and more towards cereals. One brand of cereal that works very well, even for rolling in soft-serve cones,is Post Pebbles. This is a puffed cereal that comes is different sized pebbles and also different flavors and colors.
The reason that cereals are so popular as decorations is because they lend a pleasing crunch to the cone. They also go well with any flavor of ice cream and look attractive drizzled with syrup.
One of the most colorful cereals is Fruity Pebbles as shown rolled in soft serve below. However you can also get Cocoa Pebbles and Marshmallow pebbles to wrap in different flavors of ice cream. You can also get a slightly larger version of the cereal called Post Fruity Boulders or Post Cocoa Boulders to create yet another different effect.
