Novelty Rainbow Softies
In Europe and Asia one of the most popular trends in soft-serve ice cream is ripple style soft serve. In essence a flavored syrup such as strawberry, orange or chocolate is dispensed along with the soft serve to create a twist that has a colorful ribbon around it. You can get these machines as free-standing soft-serve machines that are money-makers in any kind of store, including a corner store or you can get a countertop version or free-standing version that allows your employees to serve the ice cream.
This attractive treat is created with the simple press of a button. A couple of different companies make this machine including the Chinese company known as Carpagani (that is also the name of racing car in Italy.) Several companies make the fruit syrups including The Rainbow Syrup company in Australia.
